I liked it but it should come with a boathouse and the yard has been neglected.

Does this house have a basement?

    how deep is the water?

  6. By Brian Czup on Jul 5, 2010

I don’t know how deep this one is 60 feet off the shore where the boathouse would be. However, I did measure the depth at the next door neighbors boathouse and it was 39 feet. This was when I took the pics and the lake might have been about a foot or two below full pool. Since this other boathouse is only about 150 feet or so from where this house’s boathouse would be, my “GUESS” is they will be similar, but ALWAYS make depth verification a contingency in any offer you make and then go out in a boat and check to satisfy yourself. I’m here to help…

Nope. Single level. It does have a door under the back deck under the house which could be used to store yard equipment and boat toys, etc. You can stand up under there. Don’t wait on this house. This is a great deal and rare opportunity. I’ve seen less nicer Smith Lake foreclosures sell fast. There are only a few and this is the nicest one in the $300k range! I’m telling you!
